Anoinette vs. Apolline

I have a daughter, Dominique Giselle (Mini), who is 18 months. I am expecting another girl due mid-September and I have come up with either Antoinette or Apolline. I know they’re a bit out there but they’re French and my children are half-French. Thanks, Ruth, Michel and Mini.

I voted for Antoinette but Apolline is cool, Polly would be a cute nickname.

If you go with Antoinette, you could use Nettie or Toni as a nickname.
Mini and Nettie would be too cute.:)

There is an Antoinette at the school where I teach. She goes by Toni, and I always thought it was really cute.

Thanks- loving the suggestion of Apolline Emilia, it’s just lovely.

Yeah we would call her Polly if we do choose Apolline. Do you think this name reminds you too much of an Apple?

If we named her Antoinette, we’re not sure if we like Toni, Nettie or Ettie best.
