What do you have against traditional/classic names? They aren’t bad; not everyone likes trendy names!

She’s a teacher/ birth certificates typist. So she’s an expert on what names you should give your children.

Nothing..when I hear them I always think of my friends grandparents names..they are just very old..

Isn’t that why they are called Traditional or Classic names? It is because they are older but people still actually LIKE them!

I’ll give my opinion on each name separately;

Lydia - Cute, pretty, right on trend without being trendy or popular.
Abigail - Has gotten pretty popular (though not explosively so) in the last few years, but for good reason. It’s a classic with a great meaning.
Olivia - Too popular for me right now, but certainly beautiful.
Cora - Darling. Very antique, ready to be new again.
Delilah - BEAUTIFUL name, but I can’t help but associate it with the awful woman in the Bible...
Lilah - Just as pretty, without the association. I know a darling little Lilah!
Ada/h - Ada. No H. Gorgeous! Will likely be confused with Ava, but not a big deal.
Sophia - Exactly the same as Olivia. Beautiful, but I wouldn’t use it right now (unless, of course, it’s the ONE NAME you LOVE)
Clara - LOVE. Gorgeous, great meaning, totally classy and elegant, not even common.
Celia - I like it.
Fiona - Dislike.
Mia - Cute, but not the best on here.
