Adrian vs. boy vs. girl
We want to name our son Adrian. but I’m a bit confused by how many people have told me that Adrian is a girl name. Statistically speaking, the name has always been SIGNIFICANTLY more popular for men than for women.... Where is this belief coming from? In 2009, Adrian was #59 for boys and #999 for girls....
The Top Baby Name is...
Adrian
boy
girl

Well Adrienne is more popular for girls... but I do know both a boy and a girl who spell it Adrian. Really it could work for both.

People make it more feminine and use Adrienne for girls. I’m not a fan of the name in general, but I think it definitely works better on a boy. Seems like every boys’ name is "unisex" these days...
