Our Quads are vs. finally here!

Hi again, it’s The Wood Family and we’re happy to announce that our quads are here(a bit earlier than we expected). There names are Nathan(2,3), Daniel(2,7) Kendall(2,12) and Connor(2,6). Our older girls are delighted with their new siblings. We are looking for middle names for our babies as we weren’t going to bother with middle names but would now like them. Alana and Leona’s middle names are Cleo and Cloe. Thanks for all the help, Adam, Louise, Alana, Leona and The Babies

Are they in the NICU? When do they think they will go home?

Yeh they are in the NICU and the doctors said that Kendall will probably be home around 2 weeks from now, Connor and Daniel 3-4 weeks and Nathan at the least 6 weeks as he has a bit of a problem breathing. I think we are going to stick with Nathan Joshua, Daniel Aiden and Connor Logan, for Kendall the middle name is proving to be a little more difficult, do you have any more suggestions?

OMG i’m so so sorry! Seeing as its a unisex name it was an easy mistake to make i suppose. But i am very sorry :S

2 weeks sounds like a very short stay. My daughter was also in the NICU, and I know the rules for preemies are that they are not released to a) they have reached their intended due date, or b) they have reached a weight of over 5 pounds. Two weeks is not enough time for this to happen. I am sorry to doubt your story, but it just does not seem right.

Those are the biggest quads I’ve even heard of.....My niece was born at under 5lb. They wouldn’t let her go home until she was at least 5.5 lbs.

^^ she has their weights listed at about 2 pounds each, which makes them pretty small. but two weeks? They would be in NICU for a while at 2 pounds a piece.

Congrats!!! My sister was going to have quads, but one of them died and it became triplets. They all sound very healthy and I hope you have a great, long life with all of them!

Ok this is unbelievable. If the babies are 2 pounds they won’t be home in 2 weeks !!!!!!!!!!!! My son was 4 lbs when he was born & he was in the NICU for 25 dys - he didnt have any troubles but had to weigh 5 pounds or close & he was in the NICU for 25 days to hit the weight requirement(5 lbs) but then yet he weighed 4 lbs 12 ounces when they released him . The NICU was overflowing & they needed the incubater. I just hope the children are ok & hope the mother realize this isnt a joy ride when they have 1 child in the NICU let alone 4

^^ I agree. For any of us moms that have had children in NICU it is a very scary experience. The rule is indeed 5 pounds ( and passing the car seat test). But I am not to worried about these children,as I do not think they exist. What mother could possibly post right after giving birth to quads? When my child was in NICU, there was no time to post, because I was too busy living in the NICU to post anything.

Stop being rude! If you think it’s fake don’t post, just ignore the poll. I’m tired of people on here being rude. Also some hospitals have different requirements for going home than others. My nephew was 2lbs 15 oz. and got to go home at 4 lbs.

Even if this poll isn’t real, it doesn’t matter. Of course, it’s just like the "poll police" to ruin the fun. Maybe the only reasno the poll poster didn’t defend herself is because she’s living in the NICU and doesn’t have time. Every baby’s different, don’t judge her children! The might be a little big, so what? Everybody grows at different times and at different speeds.
