Avery is my favorite, but my husband thinks it is too masculine for a little girl. What do you all think? We also like the name Allie, but not as a full name. I am indifferent to Leah, Julia, Hannah, Grace and Callie. Caitlin is SO overdone, it should be avoided.

Okay, so I’m getting mixed signals about Avery. We’ll keep it on the list for now, though. Leah is in my top 3 and it is my husband’s all time favorite.

I’ve decided to save Grace for a middle name. Whether it’s for her or a future daughter, I think it’s kind of plain for a first name. Thanks for the suggestions! We like Sydney and Mckenna, but we can’t use Mckenna. Keep the comments coming! -Paula

I really like the names Callie and Allie too! Those are my top favorites! I don’t like any of the full names for Allie either. I just want to use Allie period, but the hubby insists on a full name, so I probably won’t get the name I want. There was one or two I thought were okay, but I can’t use them.

If you’re trying to narrow it down, I’d eliminate Mackenzie. It’s pretty trendy and I’ve always found it really harsh on a girl, I recently met a boy Mackenzie - after knowing several girls, none of which I ever much liked - and I like it better on a boy!
