Please help solve vs. my Libby dilemma!

Hi, I really want to name my baby girl Elizabeth nn Libby. I LOVE Libby. However I have a cousin I grew up with named Elizabeth who everyone always called Lilly...We lost touch for a while but now we’re talking more again. Nobody even knows her name is Elizabeth unless she tells them. She is known as Lilly by everyone and introduces herself as Lilly. Is it ok to name my daughter Elizabeth and call her Libby? Or should I just use Elizabeth as a middle name and be done with it. My other option was Brooke Elizabeth.

I think its a bit close... I have a friend that goes by Libby all the time. Her real name is Nicole.
Maybe you could use Elizabeth as a mn and still have Libby as nn. It doesnt have to be straight out of the name, like my friend. And my nn doesnt have to do with my name either.

I say go with Elizabeth, nn Libby. Everyone will know it is short for Elizabeth. I like Libby more than Brooke.

Do it! Especially if nobody really knows your cousin’s real name is Elizabeth. Libby and Lily aren’t THAT close together. Do it.
