Willa and Britta? vs. Too matchy?

We’re expecting twin girls to join our family soon! Our 2-year-old son, Dashiell Finn, will be a big brother! We love the names Willa and Britta. My mother-in-law thinks they’re too matchy though. What are your thoughts? We also need middle name ideas. Thanks- Charlotte

Britton makes me cringe all over.

Op, first let me say that Dashiell is one of my fav. names ever.

I also Love, Love, Love Willa.

Britta is just o.k.

Do I think it’s to matchy?
Actually, I think it doesn’t match super well at all, style wise.

Might I suggest....

Thea
Freya
Alice
Iris
Greta
Margo

If Britta is really the one you love, though, just use it. I’m sure your mil will come to love it as she dotes on the new baby.

Oh, I love both of those names, esp. Willa. Love Dashiell Finn too. I do think they’re a little too matchy though. Maybe instead of Britta, Brynn or Brianna? I like Brynn a lot too.

Or for some ones that are very different, Willa and...:

I don’t think they are too matchy at all, I think they are just right, similar in style, length and make up but not rhymy or alliterative.

I like Willow and Brittyn =)

Britta not so much because of the water filtering systems.

I like Britta better than Willa. I also like it much better than any of the alternative names suggested. What about Brynna and Willow, maybe?
But I like Britta and Willa.
