Kerris and Kien vs. Keris and Kien vs. Kerise and Kiene

My husband found out we are having twins! We decided to name the both with the same letter, even though say that isn’t wise. One is a boy and the other a girl. You pronounce them Key-en and Care-es. I prefer Kien and Keris

Which is the boy name, and which is the girl name?

I agree. Karis is much nicer and more feminine looking. I think Kien/Kiene is going to be mispronounced a lot. What about Keegan? Keegan and Karis are a lovely sib set!

Personally, I would rethink Kien/Kiene. It’s going to be mispronounced and misspelled ALL the time, and your son will constantly have to correct people. That’s frustrating for a kid (I’m speaking from experience)! I think Karis is a lovely name, but I would rethink the boy name.

Cerys/Carys is a girls name meaning "love." is that the one you are calling a girl?

The other one i don’t understand what the pronunciation is...definitely change that one.

I love the name Carys but I would not use anything but the original spelling. I would pronounce Kien- Ky-an not Key-an. What about Cohen and Carys? I think those names would be great!!

How about:

Cole and Carys

So I like the way you wanted to spell it.
But.. take into consideration that they are going to go through life having to correct the way people say their name. Ive had to do that all my life and I hate that.
