You asked, so I’ll tell you... it’s a terrible name. It looks like someone tried to get creative with naming a kid after people named Renee and Esmeralda, but failed.

I like both Renee and Esme.. but not mushed together. What about Esme Renee? or Remy Esmeralda

Unless your mom’s name is Renee and your husbands is Esme. No it will not work. what i did was i took MY moms name : Carla and my husbands moms name Amena and i got Carmen, use your own family.

I think that if you find a name you love but you find yourself asking, "is this a horrible fan-based name that will eventually bring my child ridicule and teasing?" you should break the baby name book back out and pick something new.
It would be different if you found the name and loved it and knew it was perfect... but if you’re second guessing yourself, something is wrong. You wouldn’t be asking the question if you didn’t already know the answer.

I agree that "Esme Renee" would be better...if you have second thoughts about a name, you’ll regret using it. Use something you ABSOLUTELY love and won’t doubt. Other super pretty names (with Renee, Esme, or Renesme as middle names):

Adella Renee
Cassandra Esme
Corinna Esme
Isolde Renee
Tatiana Renee
Zara Renesme
