Use Nell/Nelle vs. Use a longer name

I really like the name Nell/Nelle, which is normally a nick name. Could I use it on its own, or should it just be a nick name?

I think it would be a cute nickname. It’s just a little short/abrupt as a full name. I could see it as a nickname for:
Noelle
Eleanor

I love Nell by itself, it’s quite darling! However, if you are having second thoughts you can always use Helen, Ellen, or Eleanor (Any variant of it:) seeing as Nell was originally a nickname for all of them.
Whatever you choose, I’m sure it will be lovely! Do you need help with middle names?

I think Nell would be cute! I feel the same way, though...I think it needs to be short for something...I love the name Evie (eh-vee), but won’t use it as the full name. I’ve heard Nell as a nn for Helen, Eleanor, & Penelope
