Shannon and Kelly vs. for twin girls?

What do you think of Shannon and Kelly for twin girls? I know they were both originally boys names, but I think they’re pretty much girls names in the US now. Would it be confusing that we have two sons named Sidney and Caden? Thanks!

Shannon and Kelly are both beautiful names for girls. Try saying all of the names aloud: "Sidney, Caden, Shannon, and Kelly."

I dont like the name Shannon... and Kelly is fine but i prefer it spelled Kelli and maybe a more fem S name?

Definitely works.

You can look at stats at social security website.

Lots of the harder to spell and pronounce Irish names are also being given now in the US if you were considering those.

I think they sound fine. And no, I don’t think it would be confusing.

And fyi pp, Sydney is the girl version of the boy name Sidney.

I think they’re great! There’s a little repetition of sounds but I don’t think it would be too confusin.

I don’t think it’d be tough at all! Nowadays, if you meet a boy named Shannon or a boy named Kelly, he’ll most likely be picked on for having a girl name!

Last guest: I know boys with both of those names who don’t get picked on. If anything, a boy is now less likely to get teased for them than back when they were more common for girls.

Back onto the poll poster’s question, I think they would work fine.
