The top 100 list for 2010 (presuming you live in America) won’t be released until around May 10 of 2011 because the Social Security Administration still gets birth registration records for the year even into February of the next, and then they have to tally it all up.

I don’t know how official this list is, but it does claim to be the most popular for 2010. I think it might be based off user’s name lists, but the 2009 list seems close to the SS 2009 list, so it should give you a pretty good idea for the 2010 names.

That’s not from the social security administration, moron.
That means it’s NOT REAL.

Just to clear up some potential confusion... The official 2010 list for the US, given by the Social Security Admin, isn’t available yet. As the first poster mentioned, it will be released in May.

As the others have mentioned, some name sites publish their own popularity lists. Just be aware that these lists are based on internal data, and thus may or may not be close to the actual number of children born with a given name country-wide.

Hope that helps!

Moron??? Real Mature. What are you 10? I bet that list is pretty accurate give or take a couple spaces in either direction because the 2009 list was.

Moron? Really? Someone is taking these baby naming polls WAY too seriously.

Some of the websites that use internal data for their top 100 lists, are actually VERY accurate. babynames.com has actually predicted the top 5-10 names in past years, because so many expecting parents use the site.

It’s a top 100 list, is the perfect accuracy of the name rankings THAT important? Really, it’s just to get ideas from.
