Carmen vs. Katherine

I am stuck for middle names for my first daughter! My maiden name is Carmine, and there are no boys in my family so I want to continue the name somehow, maybe by calling my daughter Carmen? Katherine is a family name, and the name of my late aunt, to whom I was particularly close. Which middle name do you think is prettiest for a baby girl?

i like carmen alot. also karen/katelyn and katherine have the same name meaning if you choose to go that route.
