Fiona Elise vs. First Impression when you hear it?

My husband really likes the name Elise, and we love names that end in "A" as it sounds nice with our last name. We came up with Fiona Elise, but he’s worried it sounds too much like the song "Fur Elise". Does it? What’s your first impression?

I think its a beautiful name. Besides, her generation probably won’t even know the song so I think you’ll be ok

I think it’s pretty. I’m surprised he’s not more worried about the Shrek connection. But I don’t think either one are a huge concern.

Well, kids should know the song. It’s beautiful. So is your daughters name which I don’t think anyone would have associated with the song until your husband opened his mouth. :)
