My husband’s sister didn’t reveal her baby’s name until she was born yesterday... Elizabeth ’Beth’ Grace. Our baby is due Jan 26th and we had planned on naming her Bethany ’Beth’ Grace, but obviously that’s no longer an option. My SIL was the only one to know that. I’m crushed that she would do this, but don’t want to start a family feud. I love classic, old-fashioned, feminine names. Grace is staying as the middle name for sentimental reasons. Please list some suggestions.

So what? They wouldn’t have the same name. Yours is Bethany hers is Elizabeth big whoop. Name her what you have called her. In my husbands family there are 4 Jonathans and 2 are cousins no problem.

yes go with Bethany Grace-tell your sil you already names her that and that is who she is now, if she doesn’t like it she can lump it! oh and go out of your way to call her daughter elizabeth, bessie, lizzie etc.. lol
