Max Stands Alone? vs. yes vs. no

I am having a son soon and I want to name him Max, but is it strong enough to stand alone? The options for a full name are, Maxey, Maximilion, and Maxwell, and I dislike all of those. So wdyt?

I don’t like it as a first name. It will always be a nn to me, but with that said, you should use it if you love it.

I know a couple of ’Max’es that are just Max, and I think it works just fine!
Go for it!

I think just Max is good and i also prefer it over Maxwell. Please dont do Maxey if you chose a longer name.

Max is a fine stand-alone name. To me, it’s now like Finn, which has become a stand-alone name.

Max has a lot of other full names: Massimo, Maximo, Maximus, Maxime.

Max is definitely good as an independent name. I’d go for it. I also know a Max and everyone calls him Max or different long forms of Max whenever they talk to him.

Maxford is an option I like.
I’ve also know of Maxtons.

But I think Max is fine on its own-I know a couple.

I really like the name Max, just Max. I think it’s really a strong short name on it’s own. Use it!

Max is great by itself. I like Max Edward. It is a strong name and flows really great.

My husband and I are going with Maximus. Its strong and awesome, but he’ll go by Max or Maxim more often. So handsome!!!

I’ve come up with about 50 different Max-names, but many are made up. Here are some:
Maxton, Maxavier, Maximo, Maxavius, Maxien, Maxivo, Maxley, Maxus, Maxler, Maximiah, Maxaiah, Maxiciah, Maxon, Maxtavian, Maxiel, Maxdon, Maxcell, Maxelliot, Maxillian, Maxander....

If you like any, go for it. If not... the more common options are awesome too. :) GL!
