Name her vs. Lily or stick vs. with ’K’ names?

Hey everyone, I adore the name Lily. But, I already have four kids, whose names begin with K. Keegan Joseph 14, Kelsey Lynn 10, Kolton Patrick 6, and Katelyn Michelle 4. I don’t plan on this being my last child, but if it is, will she feel left out without a ’K’ name? Or is naming her Lily a good idea? WDYT??? Thanks!!~ Lorelei, Patrick, Kee, Kels, Kole, and Katie

Well your name starts with L so go with it. Maybe you’ll like more L names in the future!

You can name her anything and call her Lily. Really. Anything.

I have learned from my family that nicknames are totally unpredictable.

My sister Sophia is called "Kimmy"!!!

Lillian nn Lily fits in best with your other kids names. Just Lily by itself doesn’t. If you have other children do you plan to use L names?

Well, all your kids go by a nickname, so if you use Kellie a nn could be Lily. Or you could use Lily as a mn. GL!

I would think that she might feel left out. You could always use Lilly as a middle name

The Lil-names and names that are or nn to Lily are incredibly overdone. See SSA names rankings for 2009 to see how many there are besides Lily/Lillian/Lilliana.

Go with K name for sure
