Aubrynn is a pretty alternative, I think.

You could also find another name you love and use Aubrey as a mn.

Do you see your cousin very much? If not, I don’t think it’d be that big of a deal to use it anyway. Cousins naming their kids the same name is different than siblings naming their kids the same names. If you’re still unsure, talk to your cousin about it.

I personally wouldn’t use the same name as a cousins name for my child. I know when my husband’s cousin namde her daughter same name as our daughter, which is Kenzie... we weren’t happy. It would have been nice if they asked. It’s also different if they made it a mn but def not a first name. a) like us, we immediately thought they were copying us. b) there’s 2 kenzie’s in the family and no, it’s not the same as having the same name in school... this is family! But hey, that’s only my opinion.

I would ask your cousin first if you can name your daughter same name as her daughter if you want to go that route.

Autumn
Adella
Brynna
Brianna (Bree)

Brianna (Bree-on-ah)(Bree) is probably your best bet. You can call her Bree but the names are different enough it would be like you’re copying her.

I think it depends on how close you are with them. And your family personalities and dynamics. You should talk to your cousin, but if I were you, I’d use it anyway.
