OK here goes. Bailey can be used as a boy name, girl name, or dog name (I am serious). Bailey also means son of a Bailif. I personally don’t like it for a boy. Brady or Bradley sounds better. Jonah is new and different and biblical, I like this name, as long as he want be made fun of on the play ground with Jonah and the Whale (just something to think about). It does however sound the best with Matthew. Samuel is OK, but I dislike it only based on a nerdy guy I used to know. They called him Sam but you could call him Sammy, which isn’t that bad. However, my cousins name is Samantha and she also goes by Sam. Since you know Matthew is a keeper, then why don’t you make that his first name?

Pick Jonah or Samuel and decide once he is born. Many people take a name list to the hospital and then decide based on what he looks like. At least you have it down to a few good names. Relax and get plenty of sleep, you are going to need it.

Samuel is a great name and my first choice, with Jonah my second. Bailey is cute for a kid but not when he grows up to be a man. Good luck tomorrow!

Samuel nn Sam is my fave. Bailey is more a girls name and Jonah also seems feminine to me.

Samuel is by far your best choice, but you must know deep down which one you prefer. Say them all out loud. Once you decide, there is no turning back.

I like Samuel the best. Jonah is second, but the end of Jonah runs into the begining of Howard. Bailey has turned into a girls name lately, and I can see that being hard on a boy.
