Dawn Navy/hero/? vs. Lannie (spelling?) Rose vs. Marie Ann

This is my first child. I want to name her something to honor my husband. Dawn Navy or hero or (suggestions ) would be meaning full because my husband and I use to always watch the break of dawn. Navy or hero or whatever would honor him because he’s in the navy. Lannie has always been one of his favorite names. Rose is a flower I adore. Marie Ann Is from alice in wonderland. The white rabbit calls alice Marie ann, my husband and I both love this movie. I want to chose the perfect name. Something hell love. He wont get to see her in person till she’s 2. (Besides when she’s born.. but that’s only for 2months) id love any help! Renee and Jared Singleton

Lannie Hero Or Marie-Ann Navy (Marieann...etc ways to spell it) Dawn Navy and Dawn Hero seem very short and choppy, but I love the idea and the other names...You could be really bold and name her Hero Rose or Navy Marie/Rose or other ideas might be:
Courage
Sacrifice
Honor
Dignity
Sibi
Patriae
Naval
Tridens

the last four I pulled from the so called, but non official navy mottos...i am not a military expert so they may not be the official mottos and such...

I like Honor Marie as was suggested above. You could also play on "Sailor" or "Skipper," if he’s on a ship. Also, if he is on a ship, you could consider some incorporation of his ship’s name to her’s to mark the time period of her birth.

As a side note, my husband is in the Navy as well (he’s a Seabee), and has not met our son yet. It’s hard, but it is doable. Good luck to you!!

Larain means sea bird. that’s pretty, then his name he likes-lannie can be a good nn.
