I don’t really like it... it sounds like a cell phone ad to me "Add-a-line (for $9.99!!)". It also sounds like it was supposed to be Madeline but the "M" was forgotten.

I see it as being both old and trendy (because old names are in and Ad names are trendy such as Addison, Adelaide, Adelyn). However, if you want trendy, Adelyn is much trendier and modern seeming. Personally, though, I like Adeline and Adelaide better.

I like it with the Ad-a-leen pronunciation but not with how people pronounce it add-a-line.

I like it because it’s spelled correctly, no Y in sight. It has the air of being familiar and trendy while being old fashioned and pretty.

I really like it pn Add-eh-linn. But do not it pn Add-eh-line or Add-eh-leen. I also prefer it spelled Adelyn but either way is fine. I think it’s a beautiful name. If you love it, go for it!
