Final poll! vs. Baby arrives soon!

This will probably be my last poll because at my appointment today, my OB said I was already 2” dilated and 80% effaced. I’m also having contractions, but they vary in time right now. Still, labor could happen any time! Although I don’t feel so great, I am still so very excited! Our first will be here soon! So anyway, we are down to two girl names and two boy names. Girls: Aubrey Joy Harris & Natalie Joy Harris. Boys: Aiden Riley Harris & Benjamin Riley Harris. Which do you think is best for each gender? Thanks, Caitlyn Harris

you’re doing really well! took me ages and ages to start effacing and i was on diamorphine by the time i was 3 cms lol.. I love Aubrey and Benjamin . GL :)

Thanks. It’s been a pretty smooth pregnancy. Well, except for those first 16 weeks. :( I’m going to be pretty spoiled if a future pregnancy doesn’t go like this one. :)

Thanks. I may have to get the epidural. If what I’ve been feeling lately isn’t labor pain, then I’m not sure I want to know how it feels. :)

Curious, how many Natalie’s do you all know who go by Ali/Alie? How common is that?

Most I’ve met go by Nat, but Ali/Alie is super cute! Natalie and Benjamin get my votes, Ali and Ben work as nn’s when he/she is a kid, and the full names are great for adults. Good luck, and have a safe delivery!

I think I’m leaning towards Benjamin mostly because Aiden is a little close to my name. I do love it a lot though, and I know Josh likes Aiden best. Hard to choose!

I’m still really unsure between Aubrey and Natalie though. I’ve heard some say to "take the names to the hospital and see what the baby looks like." Does that really work? When my mom hear that, she thought it was silly - said newborn babies all look the same. :)

Perhaps you will just know which one suits her best when you see her and feel her. It may not be according to how she looks, but just an overall gut, motherly feeling you’ll get.
