I think Katie is definitely only a nn. So I would use Katelyn, Katherine or even Kate.

Katy is my favorite spelling. It seems so much more... feminine, delicate, sophisticated than Katie which seems very young and nicknamey.
Dislike Skylar...
Aleeah is okay. I like Alia or Aleah better.
