Charlotte Ember vs. nn Charlie vs. WDYT?

Me and the boyfriend are picking 2 girls names and 2 boys names that we like so we’re prepared when we have kids but we want all the nicknames to end in the "ee" sound. So far we have Abigail Sophia R. NN Abby, Kenneth James III R. NN Kenny and our names are Victoria Ann B. NN Tori & Kenneth James R. NN Kenny. We still need another little boys name and any other name suggestions are more than welcome. Thanks a ton!

So your boyfriend is called Kenny and you want your future son to be called Kenny? That would get too confusing. Why not call Kenneth III something else like Jamie? Still ends in ’ee’ sound but would be less confusing.

To me Jamie sounds way too girly. We would probably end up calling each other Ken and Tor in front of the kids but in private use Kenny and Tori.

I don’t think Jamie is too girly. I know plenty of guys named Jamie. And I also nicknamed my son James Jamie, we just happened to like his full name better. But since you don’t like Jamie, how about Jimmy. Ken and Kenny are a little better, but what about other people (i.e. family friends)? Will they call your BF Ken as well to avoid confusion? I have a husband named Jack and a son named Jackson and I had to make sure that no one used a nickname for Jackson in order to avoid confusion. Just because it worked for me doesn’t mean it’ll work for everybody.

My bf and his father share the same name and its never been a problem. The only reason I don’t go with Jimmy is because my best friend is on and off with a guy named James nn Jimmy and I can’t help but think of him when I hear the name.

Ohhh I love the idea of using Brady since that’s my last name but I’m not sure if I’m loving Braden. Can anyone think of other names that would have the NN Brady?

Abigail Sophia and Kenneth James are really lovely names!
You could also call Kenneth James III KJ, which I think sounds cute. Just an idea. :)

Brady: Bradley, Brayden, Brandon.
Brady works fine as a first name on its own, too.

I think I’m good with girls names but I do love the NN Ginny just not for Virginia. Thank you very much I tried picking really nice names =)

I’ve always heard it on its own but since all the other names have the first name and then the "ee" nick name I want to stick with that pattern. Idk why I’m just not feeling those "Brady" names though =/
