I’ve never personally cared for it on a girl, but I’ve seen it on here for girls a few times. What are your other kids names? If you are open to suggestions I love Blair, which I think fits in the same style category of Sloane.

Reminds me of a yucky old man. There must be a girl tv character with this name because more than one person on this site has proposed using it.

Thanks for your oppinions. 1st poster my kids names are Lennox (Knox) and Scout.
I agree about the middle name being girly. My kids go by their middle names so I need a feminine first name for Sloane.

I don’t really like Sloane.
Why do your kids go by their middle names? My parents did that with my brother and have always regretted it- it got to the point where at school he was called one thing, at home another, and it was confusing.

thanks we get compliments on Scout’s name alot. My husband and I both go by our middle names. There were a few cases that is was difficult but we just thought it was a nice tradition so now our kids go by their middle names.
