Personally, I prefer Elijah.

I’ve heard Elias pronounced differently... a-LEE-a, and a-LYE-us... I’m not really sure what’s correct.

Elijah is straightforward... a-LYE-ja... and very handsome to boot! Maybe if Elijah is the choice of Mom, use Dad’s middle name as middle name? Or, if Dad’s choice, use Mom’s maiden name, or a masculine version of her middle name for a middle name?

Elias is pronounces Eee-lye-ahs but can also be pronounced Eee-lee-ahs.

Elias is adorable and not as common and used as Elijah.
Eli is also a cute nick name!
