Popular vs. But vs. Not too Popular

I just found out that I was pregnant and I’m a little obsessive compulsive. I have to have everything planned out early. The problem is my husband loves popular names. I love names that aren’t too popular but not unheard of either. Also he doesnt want to find out the gender but I want to. So I have two questions what are some popular but not too popular names and did you find out the sex of your baby and how did you decide it was the right decision? Sorry this is so long. First baby! Maybe you could do a popular name with a more uncommon nickname

Hubby and I can’t keep secrets and our families were both dying to know what we were having so we found out...what I know my friend who decided not to know did was pick out her top three names on both girl and boy and than when the baby came took time with the baby in their arms and went over those top three names and went with the one that they both felt was right....wither you do that or choose a specific name after knowing what you’re baby is you’ll just know when its the right name...i’m not sure how you can explain that feeling of knowing.

Don’t find out! It’s the best surprise you will ever get. You can always buy gender certain stuff afterwards.
