I prefer Megan. Magan doesn’t look right to me and Maegan seems like too much. Megan is a cute name and Meg is another cute nn option.

Megan is a very pretty name. Personally I prefer the nicknames Meg and Meggy but Mae and Maggie could still easily work with this spelling.

I agree fully w/1st poster. Megan w/any nn is okay. They name doesn’t have to be spelled exactly the same to reflect the nn.

To me the name Maggie is a nickname for Margaret. I think that Mae would be a lovely nickname if the first name was spelt Maegan. I wonder if it would be frequently misspelt though?
