Paxton vs. Everett vs. Adler
We FINALLY came up with a boys name after months of not agreeing on anything. Someone last night at dinner asked us what it was, we told her and she said, "Oh, for a little girl?"
Does Paxton sound like a girl’s name or is it a boy’s name? I’ve never heard it used as a girl’s name, but want to be sure.

I’ve never heard Paxton as a girl either. I think it’s a cute boy’s name. And the nn Pax would be adorable. Great choice!

The only Paxton that I know is a girl, so the name immediately sounds girly to me. However, I think you could use it for a boy too.

I think of a boy--or a medicine--sorry, I work in a pharmacy. It is a cute name though, and I would put it on a boy before a girl.

I would assume it was a boy’s name but wouldn’t be surprised if it turned out being a girl. It seems like practically every obvious male name other than Alfred and Morton has been taken by girls.
