Pretty! I think the reason some people don’t like it is because it’s traditional, and they’re all for modernizing names, like Nevaeh, Jayden, etc. But in my opinion, traditional names are so much prettier!

It looks like a nickname for Elizabeth or Elizaveta. Sounds alright to me, more modern than Elizabeth. I don’t know if some people grow up wishing they had the option to use a fuller name, but my mom always thought why not name the kid what you’re going to call it. She used Jenny, not Jennifer.

Eliza is a nice name but there’s no point in calling her Ella. Eli or Liza are logical nicknames but Ella isn’t really a nickname for Eliza.

I really like the name Eliza, its has a bit more personality than the popular Elizabeth but doesnt sound too much like a nickname.
