Thoughts On vs. Name Persephone!

Hi! I have been seeing this name A LOT recently (which is weird because it isn’t that common!) and my husband and I are REALLY starting to like it! What do you think of Persephone? (Pronounced: Per-Seph-On-E) Can you suggest some middle names? I think I would like a classic name. But NO modern/misspelled/unisex/filler names! Thank you so much!

Sorry but whenever I look at that name it reminds me of a musical instrument, also in school she would get really annoyed hafting to write Persephone on her work every time.soz.GL.

I like the name Persephone. Yes, it is very long but aren’t Madeleine, Mackenzie, Isabella, Elizabeth and such, too?

I agree with comment 1 - when i first look at the name i pronounce it Percy-Phone...sorry and GL! :)

All educated people know how to pronounce Persephone - there should be no confusion. You can always firmly correct people if they pronounce it wrong.
I love Persephone Marie, but that is definitely a filler name.
