I think Emily is a lovely classic name, I don’t know any Emily’s so don’t think it’s too common but not sure about where you are from.

You should google social security baby names. It will let you type in names and see how popular they are over the past 120 years. Emily was number #1 in the USA from 1996 to 2007 and is still in the top 10. Here are some names that are classic and not in the top 20:
