I think Maddie and Maggie match too much. I prefer Margaret nn Maggie, or Margie.

Another name I just thought of that’s similar to these two is Marjorie, nn Marie. Super cute. ;)

I think Margaret and Madelyn are adorable names for your daughters, but I do agree that Maddie and Maggie are too close, I think Maddie and Daisy are cute nicknames for these names (Daisy is actually a common nickname for Margaret), wdyt?

I think the spelling Madeleine would suit Margaret best. I think the nicknames are a bit too close. Here are some other nicknames:

Margaret:
Meg
Meggie
Maggie
Marge
Mary
Marie

Madeleine:
Mades
Maddie
Adele
Leine (like Lean)
Leina (like Lena)
Addie

You can always call your children by more than one nickname.
