Yes or No vs. ??? ???
My husband and I have decided to name our twin daughters Dakota Hunter "Kodi" and Kadyn Leigh "Kady". We chose these two because we felt while they are younger they could have names that sound alike but as they grow older and they want their own individuality they can go back to Dakota and Kadyn. We know these are boy names but these are the two names we like the best and these will be the only kids we will have. What do you think? ~Emily

I like your theory, but hate the names.
I love the names
I like the idea of having names tht sound alike when they are little & they can change it when they are older but I don’t like the names. I think you sould get more girly names for them.
How about something like;
& Lilly-Anne Victoria
I agree w/1st poster.
Me too....agreeing with first poster.
LOVE the names
If you are going with masculine first name, please opt for a more feminine middle name to balance them out. In theory it is nice, but I don’t care for the names.
I love your idea, great thinking. I think the names are prefect, neither sounds masculine to me. Dakota Fanning is a famous girl with the name Dakota, also Kadyn has never sounded masculine to me at all. I love both names, stick with them if you do too!
I like the names and the theory...Good Luck with your twin baby girls!!
I think I would like Kayden spelled better this way...I don’t really like your spelling much. If you spell it like this she could go by Kay as an adult if she doesn’t like Kady.
Kayden Leigh is cute...Dakota is a great name for a girl but I’m not big on Hunter for girls. What about Dakota Lynn? Or Dakota Layne? Hunter would be a great name for a future dog...but not a daughter.
Um, I think Dakota sounds too masculine and "trendy." It’s hard for me to imagine an adult woman named Dakota, unless she’s a park ranger. Kadyn is better because at least it has the "y" spelling which makes it look more feminine, and it has the female nn Kay.
I think it’s fine as long as the girls don’t end up being super feminine. If they are, they may not love being named a boy’s name.
