Harry vs. ?
Hi there! We have one son (William -always Will- Levi) and two daughter (Caroline -sometimes Cara- Rose & Charlotte -sometimes Char - Anne) and expecting one last boy to even it all out. We really love Harry, and think Will, Caroline, Charlotte, & Harry is a great sibset! However, each time we mention it to someone, they say "ugh, imagine naming a child Harry. Imagine the jokes!" We know there could be some Hairy jokes, but really, it’s such a classic gorgeous name. Do you have any opinions on this name?? We think Henry’s okay too, but we don’t love it. Mn will probably be Alexander. Thank you! - Robert, Elizabeth, Will, Cara, Char, & Harry?

Thank you poster one! Now that i think about it, our other children all have long, classic names with nns, why should our youngest be any different? I have to let you know though, we’d always call him Harry.

I would think you were naming your children after the Royals if I saw Will and Harry (England). Caroline and Charlotte (Monaco) If that doesn’t bother you, I would say use it.

Love Harry! It’s quite popular, you shouldn’t mind those comments.
I do think you should go with Harrison (if you love it, that is) and call him Harry, like you did with your previous children.

:) yes we do love Harrison! Ever since i’ve heard it, it’s stuck in my head! My little Harrison! :) The royals don’t bother us too much. Actually, i was really unaware Charlotte and Caroline were royals in Monaco. The English one is a bit more tricky, but we’ve decided we love the names too much! Lol so excited :) :) Also though do you think Harrison Alexander is too long? If so, any suggestions? Thanks again!

Harry is a nn version of Henry, originally. Prince Harry’s given name is Henry.

That’s interesting that you have both a Charlotte and a Caroline, both names being feminine versions of Charles.
