We know one of our girls will be Carrington Clay. It may not be y’alls favorite but they are both family names on the hubs side. The next, we would like to name the second of our twins after my side of the family. Some famoly names are: Emma, Obie, Kace, Janna, Danna, Alyson, Anne, Leigh, Herring, Edwards, Sandborne, Irene, Rae, Hudson, West, Danny, Oscar, Melvin, and Wilma. Thanks so much!!

Why can’t you choose family names that are just girl names or even unisex? But Clay, Edwards, Sandborne, Hudson??? Ridiculous!

Carrington is fine. But I would drop the Clay. There has to be another name on your husband’s side you could use. Think of your daughter’s feelings not your own.

I live in the south and it is exceptable to use them as middle names. I wouldnt like them as first names. Just as a middle name. You dont have to make names with those if you dont prefer them. Thanks for your opinion though!:) -poll poster

Personally, I wouldn’t pair a unisex name like Carrington with a clearly masculine mn like Clay. I would think it was for a boy. I like the suggestion of Emerson Leighanne. GL.
