Is Beckham vs. a unisex name?

We’ve decided to go with Beckham as the first name for our little boy, but when I asked opinions on another site someone brought up that it’s a unisex name. I would never think of this as a potential girl’s name... what do you think?

I believe Beckham is too masculine for a girl plus I like the name for a boy

I wouldn’t consider it unisex but its hard to tell these days.

I think of this as a surname and have not heard it on a girl before.

It sounds like a boy’s name to me. There are some people who want to give their girls boy’s names, but that doesn’t make it a unisex name.

I’ve certainly seen it on girls, but that doesn’t make it a unisex name. It’s a surname anyway, not a first name.
