Lyla vs. Lila vs. Lilah

Which spelling of Lila is best? I sort of prefer Lyla as I feel it looks like a name that can stand on it’s own, whereas Lila and Lilah seem more like nicknames. DH disagrees and likes Lila:)

I love Lila! I much prefer this spelling but Lilah is also fine. I dislike Lyla though, sorry. It just looks far more trendy and contrived than the other two.

I agree with keeping the more common "Lyla" spelling. It will not get misprounced. Lila and Lilah might be pronounced Lee-luh or Lil-uh. Lyla leaves no doubt that it’s Lie-luh. GL!

I love the name. First choice on spelling would be Lyla. I like the y it makes it feel more feminine.
