Joanna Elise vs. Joanna Allison vs. Joanna ?

After months of debate and the due date of our daughter very soon, we might have a name! My husband loves the name "Jolie" and I wanted something a bit more traditional, so we agreed that ’Jolie" will be our little one’s nickname. We’ve decided on Joanna for a first name, but are looking for a middle name with a strong "L" sound component. Elise and Allison were the first that came to mind, but we are very open to other suggestions. Thanks in advance

Jolie Leigh??? that sounds funny.. and
alot of people who have nicknames will use their middle names sometimes..

I was Jennifer Sue.. nn Jenny.. When people asked myfull name I always said Jenny Sue.. which probably explains why I HATE my middle name.. lol

I think Joanna Elise sounds really pretty and Jolie Elise is cute too..

Joanna Allison doesnt flow well from the last A in Joanna to the first A in Allison..

other possibles though I dont think you need them since you have Elise..

Brielle

I also like Joanna Elise the best. The a in the end of Joanna runs into in the a in the beginning of Allison. It ends up sounding like one long name.

Joanna Elise is gorgeous and Jolie is an adorable nickname. I think Elise works better than Allison as it actually contains the -lee sound rather than just a lih sound.
