How do you say Gearóidín? Is it kind of like Geraldine? I’m not really a big fan of Geraldine so if it is like that then I would say no. But if it is prn differently then it might be ok. Depends on how you say it.

There is this other website www.thinkbabynames.com, If you have never been on it, it has a great Irish names section. That might help you out. A lot of traditional Irish names are unique, especially if you use the original spelling. However, I would warn you, that if you give her a completely traditional Irish name, people might not be able to pronounce it right, Clodagh (Clo-da) for example. If I hadn’t researched Irish names, I would have NO idea how to pronounce it. Just warning you that she would have to correct people her whole life, and it is not too fun. I believe it is pronounced gar-ROJ-een. It is very cute imo. Saoirse Gearóidín is cute I do agree.
