It’s definitely a girl’s name. The girl’s name Aislinn \a(i)-sli-nn, ais-linn\ is a variant of Aisling. It is of Irish and Gaelic origin, and its meaning is "dream, vision". Not in use as a given name during the Middle Ages, but was adopted as part of the Irish revival in the 20th century.

Aze-lyn would be the pronunciation.. or Ace-Lyn.. you can pronounce it Ashlyn but that is the US pronunciation.

Ace or Aze-lynn is the English pronunciation. The Gaelic pronunciation is Ash-lyn. Either pronunciation is fine and useable depending on where you live.
