Yvaine (yi-vain) Middle names for Yvaine vs. Yes vs. No

What do you think of the name Yvaine? I found it reading a book, and it fits all of the qualities i have been searching for. Pretty, unique, strong but feminine. I want to kno what other people think. If you do like it, please suggest nicknames and middle names. Thanks! Emma.

I actually thought that it was very masculine when I read it. It sounds/looks a lot like Zane, Kane, Vance, Yale, Dwain, etc. I also think it would be really confusing for her to have to explain to people, and there also aren’t any nn’s for Yvaine, making it really limited.

I would go with Yvonne or Elaine. If you want something more unique or unheard of, how about Yesenia or Ivana?

Right now there are so many trendy made-up names that a legit literary name may come off sounding less than intelligent/authentic/etc...maybe five years from now this name would work but right now I just wouldn’t do it to her.
