Husband’s List for new vs. Daughter Please vs. Help!

We have one daughter, Elise. (3, turns 4 in two weeks.) I gave her the first name, and my husband chose the middle name. Now we are having another daughter. This time around my husband will choose the first name and I will choose the middle. I’m not really a fan of his list of names, and I know many of you won’t be either. But can you please tell me which one you think is the most decent? And please suggest nicknames and middle names. My husbands list will be in the first comment. Thanks!

I like Payson that’s all.

Oh my. I don’t really like any of those-- at least not with the crazy spellings. Maybe try Mckenzie (Kynzie for a nn) or Paisley (as a teacher, that spelling makes me cringe, sorry).

these are really bad. the spellings are worse. What about Mackenzie?

Payson or Paisley (if he lets you spell it right)

I think that you should be honest with him and tell him you don’t like his choices and to start over.

Paizley probably - you could change it to paisley. Paisley Lorraine?

I really can’t pick one. They’re all awful. Maybe suggest something similar that is an actual name and not made up! Suggestions:
Kendall
Mackenzie
Kenzie
Payton...

Paisley spelled this way is the only decent one. NONE of them go with Elise.

Elise is such a beautiful and classy name, none of these compliment it. Have you told him that? It might help you change his mind. Good Luck!

Like Kenzie instead of Kynzie and Payton instead of Payson. The others are terrible.
Middle name:
Sophia
Noelle
Brooke
Faith
Claire
Brielle
Grace
Sage

I have tried suggesting many other names but he won’t budge! I even tried Makenna, which I thought suited his style of names and I liked it a little but he didn’t like it! Sorry I hate Mackenzie as much as the others. I think that my husband would go for Paisley if I worked on his sympathy during the birth:) but right now he’s set on Paizley. I agree, the spelling is outrageous. Please keep the advice coming!

None of them to be honest. None of them go with your older daughters name either. Heres some suggestions he might like.
Juliet
Scarlet
Raina
Camden
Brenna
Brynn
Delaney
Ariel
Hope you two can come to an agreement. God bless

Zara
Zahara
Ivy

Would he consider Berkley/Berkeley?
I would actually love that name if it just had a more traditional spelling rather than Birklie.

Elise is so beautiful! The names sound like teen momish names.

^^poster 13, thanks for the suggestion of Berkeley. While I do not like it as a name, I think it is alright. I suggested it to my husband and he liked it. The reason that I do not dislike it is that I was born is Berkeley, California and that city has sentimental value to me. And besides that I can maybe call her Berky or even Keley (Kelly)? What do you guys think?

Honestly I don’t like any of them. Not even with the correct spellings. Elise is such a beautiful and classic name, and these are horridly trendy.
I guess if I had to choose, it would be Kinsey, spelled this way.

If you named her Kinsey Claire you could call her KC (Casey) which I think would be a little cuter with Elise.

Yeah, the name are unique and the spellings even weirder. What about similar suggestions:
Kenzington - Kennedy
Kynzie - Kinley

The Oaklie kind of cracks me up. I can see my husband thinking of it beacuse of the sunglasses.

Berkeley!

Oaklie or Paisley - please ask him to consider it without the z, it really does look tacky!

Thanks everyone! Since my hubby refused to change Paizley to Paisley, we have settled on Berkeley! I will create a poll in a few hours asking a few questions about this name. Thanks so much! -Poll poster, Husband, Ellie and Berkeley (nickname to be determined)
