WE NEED HELP! vs. ONLY 2 MNTHS LEFT!

My husband and I really want our son’s middle name to be a family name. There are quite a few to choose from: Howard, Maurice, Neal, Logan, Rondal, Robert, and Donald. We like classic names that are unique and can’t seem to come up with one that flows nicely with one of these middle name choices. Please help us! -The Jones Family

I like Truman, Everett, and Phineas the best out of those choices.

My fear with Garrison is that everyone would call him Gary, which I am not a fan of. Do you think that would be an issue?

I think people would definitely try to shorten it to Garry BUT if you make it clear that it is Garrison and only Garrison from an early age then there shouldn’t be a problem. My son’s name is Charles. Not Charlie, not Chuck...Charles.

People will call him Gary even if it is against his will.

Truman Neal is nice. Everett Neal also.

How about Harrison its simular to Garrison but would prob end up being shortened to Harry which i prefer to Gary

My son was Matthew not Matt, Mattie or anything else, and still is for family. In 8th grade he did start allowing a few girls/friends to call him Matt, but that was his choice. And for themost part everyone still calls him Mattew, Even his friends. My husbadn is Michael and always has been too.
