I kind of like the name Edward it’s something he can grow into and no i like it way before twilight & has nothing to do with it,it just like the name.Is it to old fashion for this day in time?

It’s classic, not old fashion in a bad way. I know a 4 year old named Edward and called Eddie. I like the nn Ward better, though. Edward nn Ward was actually on our list before we knew our daughter was a girl.

Edward is a classic, traditional and timeless name so it ages well. If you love it, go for it! My favorite nn for Edward is Ned or Teddy.
