Not super keen on this name on a girl, but I would definitely go Austen, as the association with Jane Austen makes it seem more feminine.
Not really sure how you get Autie from Austen/Austin, but it kind of makes me think of autism...

Don’t name your daughter Austen!! I HATE that people are taking what is clearly a boy name and naming their daughters it!! :(
