Names vs. For a Boy vs. For a Girl

We need name suggestions to go with the last name Reid that will suit an asian looking baby. We were thinking either Nina or Jaymes. If we have a girl we want to call her Nina but do you think it would be better to have a full name with the nn Nina, if so than any suggestions on what her full name should be. Other suggestions for boy names? Thanks.

Nina is a full name she was a Babylonian goddess. James (no Y) is also nice, others...Corwin, Eric, Brandon, Abel, Benedict, Julian, John

I love just Nina. And for boys names, Silas, Starett, Bennett, Bensin, Baylor, Saylor (say), Remington (remi), Oliver(Ollie).

I know Nina is a full name, I was just wondering if it would be better to have a longer name with the nn Nina or if it was fine the way it is. The spelling James seems to british for our tastes but we like the name Jaymes. We like the name Silas. Thanks.
