Thomas Edward makes me think of Thomas Edison, sorry.

Hey, I like Thomas Edison so Thomas Edward is fine to me. Thomas Arthur would be even better...I also like the name Arthur George more than George Arthur.

George Arthur is my estranged "biological" father’s name so that doesn’t sit well with me. Plus, I really don’t care for either name. I think Thomas Arthur or Thomas Edward is fine for a boy. I also like Henry or Lawrence.

First off my daughter’s name is Elizabeth Jane so I love that and my son’s name is Thomas Henry. I love the name Thomas Edward.

I know you said you want old-fashioned, but George is just a little too old-fashioned. Not that all names nowadays need to be common, but George just seems too much like a grandfather’s name. Thomas is better and you don’t necessarily need to call him Tom, but there’s always that option.
