Allison vs. Elocin

What do you think? I’ve wanted to call my baby girl Allison, but my husband thought of the name Elocin, which is my name Nicole spelled backwards, it has the same sound as Allison except the nn would be Ellie instead of Allie. WDYT? Nicole

Ellison would be cuter but I like the sound of Allison better/. Elocin just looks unflattering,

Stick with the traditional name. Elocin is cheesy like Nevaeh and all the other made up names. Allison on the other hand is beautiful. I also like the spelling of Alyson, nn Aly.

I like Allison. Elocin looks too contrived.
