Yes that would be very weird. Don’t do that to your child. Why don’t you name him after your favourite player? That way at least he’ll have a proper name and won’t get made fun of.

i’m not a fan of the first two, i don’t see them as names. and while i like Boston as a name, it would be very odd to be named the same name as the place where you live. i don’t know much about sports, or Boston sports in particular, but i’ll try and give you some more usable suggestions.
